16's or 17's

alright.. i'm just outta H/S and dont have much cash.. infact as of right now i got about 500 to my name.. and i'm lookin in to gettin some wheels after a few more paychecks... I got a '95 civic EX with some beastly 14's as of right now
I was wondering if ya'll can post some pictures of your cars that have either 16's or 17's on them.. and lemme know ur opinion on whether i should go with the 17's or same a lil dough and go with the 16's.. because i've seen cars with both.. and there doesn't seem to be much of a difference.. and plus 95 coupes are quite small. so both would look big...

my Civic is black. should i go with powder-coated, chrome, or black?

lemme know. thanx

Re: 16's or 17's

15's or 16's match the size of our cars best. 17's+ make them look like wooden carraiges.. Plus the smaller, lighter rims are best for performance because our torqueless motors won't have to turn as much.

Re: 16's or 17's

Well, 16's would work best- 15's are too small, but 17's + Lowering springs will make a Civic look the part, though really I think if you want the best looks- but want to keep the handling, then you've got to get the 16's.

Now if only Rims weren't so darned expensive in New Zealand....

Re: 16's or 17's

Just an fyi the 99-00 Civic Si rims were 15's, and they match the shape/size of the car perfectly.
