Ok, I drive a 93 civic dx 4-dr, and my friend recently bought a used Mitsu 3000GT SL, meaning no turbo and about as much aftermarket support as a daiwoo. The 3kGT still has a v-6 though, and naturally is faster than my 1.5L civic. Well we've never raced, and I won't b/c his stock e.t is so much faster than mine, but he keeps running his mouth that the 3kGT will kill the civic and that the civic is a ricer b/c even after exhaust and CAI its still slow and i went ahead and did visual enhancements before a swap. i did the visual enhancements before performance mostly b/c i had the equipment to do them and b/c i was in an accident and decided i might as well upgrade my headlights and hood if i had to replace them anyway. anyway, the kids been getting on my nerves and I went ahead and said he was a ricer b/c all of the his mods are incredibly bootleg, such as his tape tail light covers, crusty chrome fender flares, 17" rims that look like plastic coated chrome, a CAI that would just as soon take away hp as give it more, and a 10 yr. old cd/tape deck that skips everytime you hit a bump. so basically i'dlike you to tell me if he's a ricer, i'm a ricer, we're both ricers, or neither of us are ricers. thanks

he's a ricer IMO.. stock tape deck wtf is wrong with him... when u upgrade a car... do the audio... i havent started on my car thus my audio is stock... never chrome an azn car... i think this is more of a poser situation than a ricer situation... both of us have a civic DX... dont even think about racing... it's too stupid so jus shut up and let the bigger cars do it? k?

If you have to question whether you're a ricer or not, then you're already a ricer. Your friend is even worse, a ghetto ricer.

Who care's if he's a ricer or not, His car would take your's no problem.

While often i do not like certain modifications some people do their cars...its still they car and they can do whatever they whish with it.
