Race Card #46-Woodchopper Special
A regular on the convertible circuit, Glen Wood was a pretty successful driver before he turned his hand to making sure his driver didn't get behind during pit stops. Here's his '57 "zippertop" without its white roof.

Re: Race Card #46-Woodchopper Special
Another beaut. Did they really race them topless? Not as crazy as it seemed at first in my head... but a great build nonetheless. I imagine with these old stockers, you never run out of subject matter.

Re: Race Card #46-Woodchopper Special
Subject matter, no. Color reference material, yes. LOL And yes, Nascar had a seperate convertible division from '56 through '59. The Rebel 300 at Darlington started out as a convertible event in '57 and remained one until their last ragtop race in '62
