Need Denso

Canadian Tire store is the big auto supplier here in Canada and they do not carry Denso spark plugs. I check Napa online and they don't either. Does someone know anyplace in the Toronto area that sells Denso? If not, is there a legitimate alternative to the K16PR-P11?

Does anybody have any opinions about their favorite online parts supplier. Best prices, best shipping rates, must ship internationally.

Re: Need Denso

Check your manual for other plugs. I know it lists at least one other.

Re: Need Denso

I finally got off my rump and checked the owners manual and they list three spark plugs for a 2000 Rodeo 3.2 by serial no. but do not mention the manufacturer. One is the Denso K16PR-P11. Another is the Champion double platinum RC10PYP4. The one that I can't figure out the manufacturer is the PR16PR11. Does anybody know the brand name of this plug?

Post Denso Plugs

I have 2 or 3 local auto parts stores that carry the Denso line but none of them could get the plug I needed(same as yours). Ended up ordering a set from www.sparkplugs.com . They were shipped 3 day select as I'm in hurry because of vacation coming up soon. Total cost was around $54.

Thanks Tom. That looks like the way I am going to go. I found out that the PK16PR11 is also a Denso double platinum plug.

So here is another question. sparkplugs.com sells the single platinum K16PR-P16 for $6.80 and the double platinum PK16PR11 also for $6.80. Does it matter? IS double better or just marketing?

Oh yes, sparkplugs.com and other sites say I can use Denso K16 Iridium plugs on a 2000 3.2 Rodeo. Is there an Isuzu contact that I can call to confirm this?

If single plat. is good, double must be better, right?

I apparently have something called ion sensing ignition on my '01, don't know about your '00. The denso PK16PR11 was recommended as the only plug I should use in place of the current Champions.
