i have no idea what to do......
I have a 93 v6 lx
my car is making a loud screaching noise and it only does it when i turn right and then turn it back to cent. It also does this sometimes while hitting bumps in the road. i am somewhat worried to drive it and it seems to be worse the farther i drive and when the engine is warm it does this and ford jsut installed a new power steering pump so i am sure it isnt that......any replys are appreciated thanks in advance |

Re: i have no idea what to do......
Your car is 11 years old.
Have the balljoints on your upper and lower control arms checked. Also have the 6 Torx bolts that hold the front clip to the unibody checked, and if necessary tightened.

Sounds like ball joints. Possibly tie rod ends. Just have it checked out don't drive withit unsafe.

I heard the same thing on my T-bird. Then one day, I hit a bump and the tire starting wiggling and the whole car started to shake wildly (better than a six flags rollar coster). As soon as I parked the car in a safe spot. The whole right front end came crashing down on the ground. Towed it, and sure enough
IT WAS THE BALL JOINT. Don't let this happen to you on the highway, etc... Fix this now. Good luck |
