Question NEED to replace the OEM ECU - Help plz

whats the difference between
CONCORDE 99 Elec Cont Unit (ECU); (left ft eng cmpt), 2.7L, Fed
CONCORDE 99 Elec Cont Unit (ECU); (left ft eng cmpt), 2.7L, Calif

one is california emissions and the other is anywhere but california emissions. if its the same as 2000 2.7, then the computer has to be sent in through a good parts store like the one I work at (Superior auto 740.432.5601,ohio) ask for Mic, cuz your unit most likely has to be repaired and flashed ! Which means reprogrammed with your units VIN number.

Chrysler computers can only be flashed and reprogramed once,they are done after that.The computer has to be replaced after that.If you get a computer from the dealer,it has to be programed with the factory scan tool,DRB III and the vin has to burned in.A vetronix scan tool will do it too
