Hi,

Please refer to RAGS2RICHES post to see my problem, which is the same.

After replacing the ignition switch I cannot get the starter to turn over. It was suggested I smack it with a hammer a few times but I cannot get under the car to even look for it. Jacking it up with it's own jack then climbing under does NOT appeal to me.

Suggestions?

Did you attach the ignition switch wires in the same order as you removed it?

Did you disconnect the battery, to prevent damage to the starter solinoid?
