start problems after refueling.

My Isuzu Rodeo won't start right after I refuel. I wait a few minutes and try again and it starts. Any ideas?

Re: start problems after refueling.

is it petrol or diesel?
if petrol (well or diesel) i would go for blocked fuel filter, faulty pump, injectors need cleaning
something to that effect anyhow

my 2c

Re: start problems after refueling.

thats really weird, does this only happen when you refuel? or does it happen more often? given your above info I would say clogged fuel filter or injectors, I would go buy a bottle of Techron and see if that helps. Wal-Mart should have it for about 6 bucks.
hope this helps.

Re: start problems after refueling.

My guess is the fuel pressure regulator.

There is a great write up on it in my FAQ link below.
