Question 2001 montero limited 4x4 green light indicator

the left rear light indicator on dash has gone blank....do i have a problem or is it simply that the light burned out??? help!!!

You have a burned out bulb. I had that problem. Just go the dealer and ask for a 4wd indicator light bulb. I think is bout 2 dolla. Just do it your self, because the dealer WILL charge you at least $75 just to put that damn thing in !!!! I did it myself, so I think you could do it too.
