Cant Get Code From 2000 CD Head Unit
Bought a stock cd deck off of ebay it works great on acc but turn it on ignition it locks. This I expected but it wont let me retreve the code by pushing the 2&3 or the 1&4 buttons is this somthing a dealer has to do?

Does your radio have a flashing red light and have written on it THEFTLOCK?

Did you ever get this resolved? I have a 2000 and just bought a stock CD unit on Ebay and get the same message when turning the key to "start" - Get "locked" not the old "LOC" message. According the the O/Manual radio is keyed to the VIN#, but there has to be some way to reprogram new one???

UPDATE - purchased 2003 Aztek Stock CD Player on Ebay for $10 - took it to local Pontiac dealer, they unlocked and reprogrammed it for free - Not a bad investment
