Rear brake and e-brake

I got a 97 4runner SR5 4x4 and I need to do my rear brakes. Is this a hard job to do? I am pretty good with trucks and cars but have never done rear's before. Also my e brake is toast. When I went into Toyota they told me that my pins needed to be replaced...not really sure about those. I pull it up and get nothing.

Is there an online parts list anywhere that might show me these pins or even a page from the service manual would be a help.

TY in advance.

ok...the e-brake problem is solved. My pivet and pins need to be replaced as they are frozen. Is it best to get them from my Toyota dealer or find an online source that might be cheaper? Any suggestions?

Ty
