how will this system sound?

alright. i gotta 90 chevy s10. im gettin a flat box with 2 kicker comp vr 12's. im going to push them with an interfire 2120 amp. the total cost is 1k-1100. or i could get 2 orion p10's with the same amp and a flat ported box for 1250. which would push harder and sound better? would i be able to compete with this set up? jus overall tell me how i would do and how they would sound.

there are absolutely SOOOOO many other variables that impossible to tell just what it would sound like - or in your case, how loud it would be. Since you have only mentioned subs and sub amps, I can only guess sound quality is not an issue here.

well, i want them to sound good when im like cruisin and ridin with friends, but i want them to be loud when i want them to be...we had a competition the other nite and some of my friends said if i had that system i mentioned above, i woulda taken my class.
