low idle, reset computer? - newbie

i have a 95 gsx awd automatic. one day i ran the gas tank dry and the car has been idling at 200 rpm when its in gear ever since. 900 rpm in park or neutral. i read an article on a supra stating that when you run the tank dry, the computer switches to a "conservative" mode, effectively losing you horsepower. they said it was corrected by simply reseting the computer. i was wondering if this might be the same case for the eclipse. if so, how do i reset my computer? if not, what else could i do to correct the problem? the plugs have been changed(and gapped correctly) and i've ran injector cleaner a few times since. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx!

pretty easy solution, you might want to check your ECU for a reset button or a power wire to disconnect if the above doesnt work.

besides reseting the computer, check your speed cable on the throttle body.

Never heard of it. Like said above, disconnecting the ground wire on your battery for a few minutes (maybe 15-30 to be safe) will reset the ECU. If you do that and still have problems after, it's not the ECU.

Make sure your AC isn't on. I drop to 500 or so rpm at idle if mine is on
