Engine washing

is washing your engine safe??? bc my friend just washed his engine at a car wash and it came out sparkly beautiful but i ve heard trhat it can f up the sensors

I wash mine two times a year and have had no broblems. I try not to get water where its not supposed to be though.

how do u usually do it, bc i know theres spots on the engine ur not spose to touch. ???? can u give step by step instructions cuz ive never done it before

Try not to spray any electrical parts. Cover them if you have to. I would cover the air filter also. then spray away
