Just a quick note to introduce myself. My name is Bob and I'm the kind of person who doesn't like having to rely on spending money to get a problem fixed. Maybe a little stubborn as well. I've owned several vehicles over the years and have managed to keep them all safely on the road and only rarely having someone else do the servicing. I am, by no stretch of the imagination, an expert but I'm always willing to learn. It's getting more and more difficult all the time, however, with all of the electronics and specialized diagnostic equipment needed. Currently I own a '94 Caravan and my wife drives a '99 Saturn. I guess that home mechanics runs in the family as my Dad, who is 81, sstill does the maintenance on his own vehicle although he doesn't drive much any more. Looking forward to sharing anything I may have learned up over the years and to picking all of your brains for those tough to solve challenges.
