I recently removed my battery from my 98 GT to charge it in my garage overnight. When removing the battery from the car, I found a connector that was directly behind the battery not plugged into anything. It had "PED 34" on it, and had a yellow wire and a green with a black trace wire in it. It was coming out of the wire harness near the RH end of the battery close to the neck of the windshield washer bottle reservoir. Would like to know what this connector is for, even if it is for an option I do not have. I know it is not for my windshield pump as that works fine.

The connector is used as the fuel pump test connector and not used in normal operation. In other words it is OK and normal.
