want a new radio

my 91 750 il has an aftermarket (pioneer) radio installed. I would like to replace it with OEM type BMW radio (so the trunk CD changer works as well. I saw a 5 series radio for sell in a paper (1992) Will this one fit?

Re: want a new radio

yes it will and will have the data port the factory CD deck needs BUT are you sure the trink deck is OK? might be cheaper to upgrade the system if not.

they changed from one radio system to another in october 1990 on the 750il series. so if your car was manufacured after october 1990 the 92 radio will work. make sure the factory changer is model cdsx-m91zbm. i have the radio connctor if the aftermarket installer cut off the radio connctor. email me at [email protected] if you need it. i am a bmw radio and cd changer expert if you need any help with the reinstall.
