Bomex\RE Amemiya RX7
Started this one at work about 2 weeks ago.Was so dissapointed with the Greddy kit that I got the Bomex kit and decided to combine the 2
together.I cut out the vented bonnet from the Greddy kit and let it into the bonnet area of the Bomex kit.Even though both kits are 1\24 they are differant shapes in some places.The bonnet from the Greddy kit is a seperate part but has a differant curvature at the wind sheild and it is also narrower.Thats why I didn't just swap the bonnets.
Using Fujimi's REamemiya AW7 wheels along with the seats and rear wing from the Greddy kit.I modified the wheels from female to male using the guidelines in the tutorials.I highly reccomend that tutorial,works really well.Colour will be orange pearl.Although not obvious in the photos I deepened the outsides of the front bar and exaggerated the upward curve of the rear bar using Evergreen sheet plastic and a Dremel.I boxed all the skirts for a cleaner look.I am using the CwestRX7 headlights.
Sorry this is so wordy,it was the only way to describe all the work.
