B18C JDM ITR swap done--Dyno on 87 octane!!!

hey all...well my car is done and i'm picking her up tomorrow, but i got the Dyno results yesterday. She's throwing down 175 hp to the wheels right now w/o cam gear, cam shaft or header upgrades (i know i should have the trick 4 into 1 JDM ITR header on there, but they gave me the JDM 4-2-1 instead, bastads said sumthin about the old one getting smashed)...

so, they did the Dyno with the 87 octane fuel that was left in my tank from the ole D16Y7 days...what a way to introduce that motor to my chassis...beat on it with some low-grade fuel!!! any thoughts on the improvement when i get 92/93 octane in there?

i'm gonna finish modding the car this weekend (little stuff) and then i'll get some good picts up next week on my website...

To get the HP numbers up my plan is:

1. get the Hy Tech header ($1300, but it puts down great numbers on the B18C)
2. get the JUN Stage 2 camshaft set, with adj. cam gears, valve springs and valve retainers.
3. get her Dyno-tuned.

my garage thought that after those mods, it could put down around 200 to the wheels...

BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE HELPED ME GET THIS PROJECT GOING

check out her Dyno chart: (Ignore the other pre-swap photos)

how much gains does it give? try the bisimoto header it's half the price and it put down like 8whp on a stock d16 with stock exhaust.

Amen to that. Well, except for living in the ghetto and eating cheap food. Thank goodness i don't have to do that for my swap. Congrats on your swap though. Have a blast with it!
