Question Used snow tires

I am moving to the west coast and will have no need of snow tires for my 1998 Volvo V70 and 2000 Volvo S40. Both sets are mounted on wheels, and both sets were purchased in the fall of 2000 from Volvo.

Does anyone know where I can sell these in the Boston area? (I will cross post in the Volvo forums--apologies for an accidental post under wheels and tires in a Honda forum.)

Re: Used snow tires

might want to post on www.tauruscarclub.com since that combo will also fit on a taurus.

The tire size would be 1" too short for the Tarus and the wheel offset/center bore is wrong as well. The only match would be the bolt pattern.

Re: Used snow tires

I've used aftermarket wheels that used to be on a volvo on my taurus. The 1" too short isn't a big issue for temporary tires and the offset is only like 5-10mm off so its not a big difference with such narrow wheels.
