Seal box blunder...

Ok, so I searched and searched and searched and could not find the specs for my subs. SO I went with the recomended box size (1 cu. foot per 12" sub). Sealed great, sounds great (actually ended up with just about .97 cu feet per sub after polyfill, .87 w/out polyfill). Now that I'm done building the box, I find the specs for my subs. They require 1.25 cubic feet per sub! What's gonna happen? Will my subs eventually blow?

nah its just not going to sound as good as its potential but if u already say it sounds good u should be ok

making the box too big is more harmful than making it too small. The only penalties you will pay is low end response will drop off a little higher in frequency and it will take a little more power to get it moving.

You can always face mount them to gain more volume.. not an awfull lot but some none the less, mount it with the magnet on the outside ( I think they lok better anyway).
