ricer with integra

i talked to my buddy who knows a guy with a type-r. i love this car and respect it a lot. well he wants to race me and told my buddy he could beat me, so my buddy calls me and told me and i asked does he have a turbo, he asked him and the guy replied no, and niether does he have nitrous. so i'm thinking well what makes him think he can beat me, so i said we can race in the freeway cause my gears are bad in first and second. later on he replies to my buddy "you know why he wants to race me on the freeway?, cause i'd kill him in the 1/4 mile" he said he has a few boltons he knows its a vr4 but he said my car is to heavy.

just a ? if you had a type r with intake and exhaust would you think you could kill a vr4? especially if you knew he had some upgrades

depending on what he has and if he had some kind of wieght reduction, then he might have a chance to take u. but it's hard to say, right now my money is on you; however, there had been stock type-r's hitting mid 14's stock in the 1/4 mile with good drivers.

if you don't care mf don't post.

thats my point tran nsx, they've ran mid 14's stock i run 13.8 stock, i beleive he has ihe i have some bpu's. basically i'm trying to figure out something, i've ran into soo many teg drivers that are clueless to stuff like this, i've only known 2 teg drivers that really know there stuff. its a stereo type i don't want to beleive but geez. if anything he'd have a better chance on the freeway, but he thinks he can "kill" me in the 1/4 mile. its like me thinking i can take a Z06, i know i can't.

Re: Re: Re: ricer with integra

does he know u have a vr4? he might be assuming u have the gt, and in that case he could smoke u. it could also be that he has a type-r and is just plain cocky. i love type-r's because it's just a fine piece of automotive engineering, but a fast 1/4 mile car it's not. i for one would prefer to have an ls turbo than an itr because it's faster and cheaper.
in any case, good luck, but b4 u do race, just make sure what he has.

ok i just noticed u said he knows u have vr4, so im thinking he is just cocky.

Re: ricer with integra

the vr4 is the turbo one right?
i actually it would stand a better chance against you from a start, not on the freeway. if vr4 is the turbo, then u got it.

Re: ricer with integra

the vr4 is twin turbo and all wheel drive, pretty dam hard to beat from a stop if u ask me. would be faster if it wasn't so freaken heavy.
