Exclamation More Turn Signal Problems

My turn signals will suddenly go crazy flashing very very fast. When this happens it effects the turn signals and hazzard flashers as well. The lights flash so fast that from outside you can not tell they are flashing. The dash lights do the same thing. This happens if I signal right or left or use the hazzard flasher. Then it suddenly stops and will flash normmaly. There is no corolation to weather or temperature. I would like to check or replace the relay but I don't know where it is located. Is this a short in wiring, a relay problem or a bulb issue?
Any help would be appeciated.

Re: More Turn Signal Problems

Start by looking for corrosion at the connectors (esp the front). I have heard that GM cars have had a rash of this lately. Not sure why.

Re: More Turn Signal Problems

when turn sifgnal flashing very fast it means one of your turn singnal lightbulbs dont work or will die soon usualy it happands to front once cuz it same as ur day lights so it dies faster and when u find witch bulb is bad and u replace it it wil work fine i had it twice.

Re: More Turn Signal Problems

I have a 00 Intrigue and the problem I have had is that the turn signals won't work at all. One time they are fine the next they won't work. I originally thought I blew a fuse. But after checking and changing fuses I found a quicker way to get them working. I just slightly tap the hazard button on the dash. For some reason this works.

Maybe yours is like mine and have a faulty hazard switch. When yoiur lights start blinking real fast just push your hazard button in alittle. I know it sounds crazy but it is better then what I was doing. (Getting out of the car to pull open the fuse box on the passenger side to check the fuse.)

Re: More Turn Signal Problems

I haven't had a problem with my 2k intrigue but I had the hazard switch replaced on my 02 alero yesterday($128.) which was causing the same indications. (recall on some but not mine)
