I am thinking about buying a Tacoma. Does anyone have any input on models from 2000 - 2004 Four cylinder, six cylinder, automatic, manual any specific models to look for or steer clear of. Thanks in advance ..

Go and look at a D-cab TRD 4x4 V-6 with chrome step rails and "Snug Top" custom cap.

Send a message via Yahoo to tacoma man.
well buddy, when shopping for one you need one that
will best suit your needs. i bought a 99 4x4 with a 2.7 liter,
has the dual overhead cam 4 cyl. excellent running
truck. pulls light loads good, plenty of power and
excellent on gas. but i took into consideration that
i drive 45 miles to work one way. i bought the truck
used, its extended cab, 5 speed tranny, for $8,900
but if you need something with a lot more power
get a v6 and make sure its a 5 speed. the automatic
tacomas seem to be slower and dont pull as good.
