No Spark at Coil.

My Crown Vic has a duraSpark ignition. All fuses good. Power to coil but No spark when cranking. Sometimes will start sparking and then car will run. Coil and module tested good. Replaced Module (brown grommet) and am going to replace coil. Is there a "pick-up" assembly or anything like that i should look for. Should i check ground and look for bad connections. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is a 1983 model with 5.0L fuel injected motor. I found that it was not pumping fuel and sparking when cranking so the only conclusion is a bad crank position sensor. I replaced it and car works fine and actually starts better.
