make a bigger space for the FMIC?
i ripped this off of RRE!
ok, so any opinions about this? i'm very much considering it for the look, i like it a lot better...

 there is a lip on the upper space where the FMIC is, i want to take it off. personally i think it looks lame and i want a more clean look.

I did it when I was installing my fmic. just take the bumper off, and take a sawzaw or hacksaw or a rediculously sharp blade and cut it out from the inside. it's pretty basic. and then you got it. I"ll post up some pics once everything is mounted back up and I have the car back (it's taking forever again... I miss my car!!)

I thought it could be removed too. but once I got the bumper off I realized it was all one big peice. It came off nicely with the saw. it's ok vince... you can do it... take a deep breath.

ya i was thinking Dremel to do it. i have a hack saw but i think a dremmel would be a bit nicer to use. i'm not sure how much the upper pipe on the type-24 will be visible, but looking from above the car like at standing or driving hieght it should look ok  hey Jonathan, could you just take a few pics of what you have so far? that would be the shit. i also got to shave down the lower portion of the hole where it meets the bottom of the FMIC as well.

use a hack saw and watch you'll fuck it up.. !! LOL... dremel is the way to go. it's good for all kinds of cutting ie. pc case modd.
