Crankshaft Position Sensor?

Where can I find this sensor on a 1998 jeep cherokee with a 4.0L engine? This is a right-hand drive.

HI I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN LEFT HAND AND RIGHT HAND DRIVE. ON LEFT HAND DRIVE--IF YOU'RE SITTING IN DRIVERS SEAT OF A LEFT HAND DRIVE AND COULD SEE THRU FLOOR ITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF FLOOR WHERE THE GAS PEDAL IS ON A LEFT HAND DRIVE VEHICLE. DON'T KNOW IF THEY'RE THE SAME. BUT YOU CAN CHECK . STANDING IN FRONT OF VEHICLE FACING THE CAR IT WOULD BE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE QUESTIONS GIVE A HOLLER. EMAIL DIRECT NOT THRU FORUM [email protected] DALE

it's located on the rear(trany) of where the engine and trany bolt together. on a left side drive, looking from front to back, it would be in about the 1-O'clock position. the wire runs up between the engine and firewall and conects into the harness near the back of the head.

before you replace it try cleaning and tightening up the connection into the wiring harness. it fixed mine.
