security system remote???

Hi!! I'm new here and have recently purchased a '97 Tiburon FX. after having it for a month now I still can't seem to drive it enough!! Anyway, my problem is that I found under the hood a "hyundai" alarm component, so looking further I found the control system under the dash, but I have no remote for it!!!! It is a factory aftermarket system, made by or for Hyundai for a Tiburon or Elantra. Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement.

i would check with the dealer. hyundai sometimes will leave all the components of a accesory in the car, except one. kinda sucks, but it makes it easy to get that accesory working.

I have been able to special order components for that particular alarm system . at hmaservice.com go into service info select your vechicle go to tsb tad scroll down to bodyelectrical in this folder there is a tsb with updated part numbers .

personally i would get a newer alarm installed yje factory replacement parts are expensive and have to be special ordered . the keyless entry and alarm was a port installed /dealer instaled acc but is nothing more than a clifford alarm .
