Exclamation Removing Oil pan (93 Accord)

There is one bolt on the oil pan I can't get to. It is right up against the transmission. There is a black plate that is blocking the socket from the bolt, Can I remove that plate without messing up anything?? (just got transmission rebuilt so I REALLY don't want to mess wit that).

No worry about messing up tranny removing that plate....it is simply a dust/inspection cover.
