nope, dont want one, ive heard that they leak from mulitple mechanics, if your gonna dump it, just dump, have fun with emissions though, either way you look at it, exhaust leak, fail. dumped and doesnt clear rear axle, fail. At least in H-town

But I wouldnt buy a leaky cut out

Re: question

As I said before, my friend has one on his Trans Am, the thing is loud as hell and he rarely uses it, simply because he gets so sick of all the noise. I've never seen it on an import though. His doesn't leak to my knowledge. I'll ask him about it today, and can ask more specific questions if you have any. But honestly, as Grunge said, I would just run an open downpipe. Perhaps you could try that for a few days, and see if you can stand the noise and attention. I don't think it's worth it unless you're at the track, in which case you could just unbolt your exhaust anyway. Do you have a vr4 or N/A, because it might actually hurt your low-end torque in an n/a, I'm not sure. Either way, if you still have any questions you want me to ask my friend, let me know.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
