DIY replace front blinker?
Does anyone have any information where I can find a DIY to change my front turn signal on my 2001 Jetta?

It should be in the owner's manual.

Re: DIY replace front blinker?
I looked in the owner's manual and it tells me it is complicated and to take the car to the dealership. Is there maybe another manual that I should look in other than the owner's manual?

Well, if you're into do it yourself repairs it might be worth investing in a Bentley manual.

I am trying to change the turn signal as well. I got all the pieces of plastic out of the way and removed the electrical connection to the bulb. However, gettings one's hand fully in between the battery case and the front of the car is impossible as is getting one's head down to look. I could reach where the back of the bulb is but did not not know which way to turn it or how to get it out. Can anyone tell us that? I would really appreciate it. I hate to have to take it to the dealer or a garage just to change a bulb.....
