Painting for that carbon fiber look
yeah im workin on my first model ever (when im done ill post some pics in the completed forum) and im about to paint the hood. The body is nice and red (well not so nice, i hand painted it-no $$ for the spray
) and i want to make the hood look like carbon fiber. Im limited to a couple bucks and walmart, so is there anythign i can do with paint to make a carbon fiber look? or am i better off just fuckin carbon fiber and go red?

Re: Painting for that carbon fiber look
With only wallmart, no there is no way
Decals are the best way, if not, black paint, gun metal paint and mesh can do the job, but you gotta be lucky to have a nice finish
