Help!

Hey all...

Alright, strange noise from my Iroc. Whenever I floor it, a strange whinning, buzzing sound comes from the front end, sounds like from the engine. Any ideas?

Also, I want to change teh exhaust- I want it to be loud and gutteral. Loudmouth exhaust do this? Or dynomax?

HELP!

Thanks!

I have a 3" Y pipe and 3" catback along with Dynomax super tubo on 85 trans am with 5.0 TPi. I think it sounds good and has a different sound than flowmasters which everone else seems to have.

I have a flowmaster 40 series on my Iroc, and want to go louder. I've listened to clips of the Loudmouth exhaust, and think I'll go with that.

As for the noise, My catalytic converter just clogged totally, could this have any bearing? I am going to gut it today.
Thanks

Thanks, I'll give it a try and see what happens. I thought it might be that, because it wasn't picking up. My dad who owned a monte carlo did the exact same thing- barely any power, and made strange whining noises...

Re: Help!

Why dont you just get a high flow cat?? Gutting it can cause a ton of problems if you dont get all the broken guts out from the inside.
