Re: What do you use to clean the inside of your car?

i got a set of Mguires (spelling?) leather wipes for the seats, a dash duster for the dash of course, I use the wipes on the vinyl as well, and for the wood trim i use auto glass cleaner.

Re: What do you use to clean the inside of your car?

Don't use Armor-All - it's got alcohol in it and it will dry everything out - not good in the sun.

I use Sprayaway Glass Cleaner for the windows and the wood trim. I use Zaino leather cleaner and leather-in-a-bottle conditioner and am very happy with it.

I haven't found the perfect solution for wiping down the dash yet - pretty much have just been using a very slightly damp microfiber cloth, followed by drying with a towel. I have a detailing brush for the seams in the dash, vents, et. al.

I can't remember the carpet cleaner I use, but it's pretty generic and comes in a blue can - spray on, vacuum out.

I just put my floor mats in the washing machine (cold water), with a little bit of Tide, and then lay 'em down to air dry when done. Works great!

Hope this helps,

--Robert

Re: What do you use to clean the inside of your car?

I used Meguiars Gold Class wipes for the dash and any vinyl door surfaces, as well as plastic. For the seats, Eagle One leather cleaner, with either Mothers leather conditioner or Meguiars Gold Class leather condtioner (depending on my mood).

After giving the mats a vac I spray with Febreeze. Works like a champ

I use the Mguiers leather wipes for the leather....and for the dash, believe it or not -- I use pledge (the dusting stuff). It not only makes the wood trim and dash shine, but it also doesn't dry out your dash. (Unless I was told incorrectly!). I've been using this for 2 years now, without any complications......give it a try!

Re: What do you use to clean the inside of your car?

Okay:

I use Mother's Leather Cleaner and Leather conditioner for the leather

I use Eagle One Interior Protectant for the Dash and other plastics on the interior.

I use Kleen-Flo foaming glass cleaner for all glasses and GM Leather, Vinyl & Cloth Upholstery Cleaner for the interior carpets.

I hope that helps,

HL

Re: What do you use to clean the inside of your car?

i use Meguiars leather wipes on the dash and seats, Meguiars plastic wax on the trim cause it takes the fine scratches out and makes it shine new. I've never cleaned my windows, im too tired to clean the windows when i get done everything else. i've used pledge on my dashes in other cars but I just dont want my aurora to have a lemon scent.

Lexol for the leather, mequirs for the plastic. and i use wax on the wood. I used to use the meguirs for leather, but the lexol does a better job, just a pain beacuse the cleaner and conditioner are two different products instead of a cleaner/conditioner combo.

Re: What do you use to clean the inside of your car?

Quick tid bit of info... if you're just lookin to dust all your dash and parts in your car, just use a microfibre cloth on it all... DRY! Works wonders in keepin it all clean. You dont need to use any cleaners/waxes/polishes/oils or anything if you're just tryin to get debris out of the cracks or anything. If you really feel you need some kind of "solution" to clean it with, try dampening the microfibre cloth with WATER! (damp, not soaked) and get in the crevices with that. All natural, won't dry out, crack, peel, fade, or hurt your interior (just dont use any liquids on your electronics... DUH!). You can clean your windows the same way by dampening the cloth and just wiping. Works wonders!!!!
