Mr2 swaps

i;m going to be getting my buddys 86 or 87(i dunno) mr2 trd and i was wondering if i would be able to put the trd celica engine in it and supercharge it? also where is a good place on the net to find out info about toyota engine codes and other good stuff. thanks guys

i think u need to tell us which celica you are talking about, unless i missed something... since u are looking for information about engine codes i am guessing you are new to this stuff... unfortunately i dont know of any sites to help you out... basically wut im telling you is try to find out more information and be more specific when you post stuff

i was talking about a 2001 celica gts engine(vvtl-i). i know the engine codes for hondas but not toyotas.

i believe that is the 2ZZFE engine code. I dont know of anyone that has done that but you might want to check out www.mr2oc.com and go to the MKI forum and ask there. The might be able to give you more info than me.
