8 turbos? Wouldn't that be a little bit too much stress on the engine?

Re: And you thought that bi-turbo honda was excessive...

Yeah to say the least.. I mean, you could buy off the shelf items to build a big block chevy that'll handle 2000hp no problem. It won't be cheap(probably around 15-20k for the motor), but it'll take it. Hell, I know where you can buy a billet big block chevy block.. you can get them with no water jackets, just solid metal all the way through! It'll only run for a few minutes before it overheats, but you could push several thousand HP through it... it'll run long enough to go a 1/4 mile!
billet BBC block - $7000
custom billet crank - $2000
set of forged H beam steel rods - $1200
set of custom forged pistons $1000...
$11200 for a shortblock ready for around 3000hp. Not too shabby!

Re: And you thought that bi-turbo honda was excessive...

that was the stupidest waste of money i have ever seen. If you read the tech sheet, it makes ~700+ hp. That is pathetic for a car with that much $ in the engine. Seriously, sad. You could make a n/a chevy block with 700hp with 1/10 of the money.

Also, the 8 turbos provide 13.5 lbs of boost. big whoop. they are barely spinning. Worthless in my opinion.
