Just to let out some steam... Last week my left front spring broke. Yes I mean it broke and I have to replace both spring, Strut. And when I picked up my car the guy told me that the front rear bushing is starting to torn too. Man my whole two weeks of paid can't even cover the cost.
Anyway hope you guys out there is not going to have this problem. |

Re: My Spring Broke
Hey that sucks man. I am just wondering how much did the springs/struts run you? I am thinking about either getting new springs/struts or buying the lowering kit

My spring actually just failed. You wont find springs from auto zone or any place like that, you have to go to the dealer or NAPA, way too much $$. I suggest going to the salvage yard, the strut will have plenty left in it and it will already bve assembled. If you have to change the spring it is a pain. This is a good solution if you can do the work yourself and don't care about your malibu handling like a nascar.
