HELLO FREINDS I HAVE A 91 240SX WITH A KA24DE, AND I HAVE AN INJEN INTAKE ,NGK WIRE AND SPARK PLUGS,PACESETTER HEADERS STRAIGHT PIPE TO THE BACK,AND A CHEAP STAGE 2 ZOOM CLUTCH ,AND A POLISH VALVE COVER,WELL BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM THE CAR HAS A SLOW TAKE OFF AND I WANTED TO KNOW IS HOW I CAN MAKE MY CAR FASTER. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTION OR COMENTS I WOULD BE HAPPY IF U TOLD ME, I WANT TO MAKE THIS CAR PRETTY FAST AND I KNOW I NEED A MOTOR SWAP BUT I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY NOW MAYBE LATER ON :d

If you want to make more than 200hp on the street, you will need forced induction. Motor swap is not completely necessary. You can turbo your KA and have more potential and torque than the SR. Compression test your engine and do a tune up: AIV valve matinence and replace your fuel filter with a 300zx TT. The KA turbo is pretty cheap. Like $1500 for about 7psi. Your slow take off problem is probably the fuel filter. Welcome to AF. Read the FAQ and guidelines and you won't have any problems. Good luck.

HI I HAD A PROBLEM WITH SLOW TAKE OFF TOO AS IT TURNS OUT I HAD LEFT THE PARKING BREAK ON! OH SNAP!
EDIT: HEY HOW MUCH WERE THE HEADERS, AND HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM? EVERY ONE IS TELLING ME TO GET HOTSHOTS.

bot-ons, bot-ons.... how much hp can you get with bolt-ons? (intake header cay back) i don't know but if that is not enough the go with higher comprsion (for N/A) or nitous (both are cheaper tehn a turbo)

A dyno tuned AFC and milling the heads will both give pretty good gains torque wise.
