possible loose connection?

need some help. i got a 96' 2.4dohc engine. when ever i'm driving it i don't get any check engine codes but sometimes out of nowhere the engine will just die. it's not like i stop getting fuel cause it doesn't sputter, it's like the ignition just quits on me. i replaced ALL components of the ignition system-pcm, i module, plugs, boots, housing, coils;and think it's a loose wire or connection. i noticed that it will cut out on me more often when ever it shifts hard between gears and usually after it dies i have to try starting it at least 5 times until it will start again. i tried jiggling the connections into the ignition module and the pcm while the car was running but it didn't cut out so i'm stuck. any help will be greatly appriciated. thanks

Re: possible loose connection?

i solved my problem (rightl before i totalled my car) the ignition module had a very small break in the circuit inside. therefore when i tested it, it came out fine, but when i drove it hard, it heated enough to break the contact and shut off until it cooled down. sometimes 1-10 mins. that might be your problem. if it takes a few hours to start doing it but does it constantly after it does it onces, that's where i'd start.
