Different camaro set ups
Ok u know how in magazines they run a camaro down the track and get one 1/4 mile time right? Well we then take that time and use it as a basis when talking about camaros. The thing is camaros have different set ups like some come with 2.73's,3.23's or even 3.42's. All these come stock from the factory. So the thing is this, is the camaro running 2.73's built differently than the rest? Is there a reason for having these camaros running the 2.73's being rated at the same quater mile time as the ones with the 3.23's. U see what i mean?

Re: Different camaro set ups
The engine, suspension on all these cars besides SLP are the same, However Auto's that came from the factory with 3.23's 4l60-E's came with a better set-up . They had a brass retainer clip the Valvebody , Corvette Servo and slightly different internals. including(pistons and ball bearing's). but all manuals besides SLP where the same and you can usually tell by the 1/4 mile time what gears the test car had if it was a Auto (as manual 93 F-bodys had 3.23's and 94-2002 had 3.42's)
