Idol Contol

My car idels up and down quite a bit everyone once and a while. From me searching online i hear there is a idol control screw somewhere on the throttle body. Went out and looked, all i found was the throttle control nut under the throttle body. Now are these the same thing, or do i need to look for something ealts. Its a 5th gen d15b7

change your idle air control sensor or your fast temp idle air control. dont know what that is? buy a manual and look it up

and what does the fast temp idle air control do?
(im trying to diagnos) wtf is wrong with my idle haha

i dont know if the one you have is detachable but the fast temp idle air control is right inderneath the throttle body. it controlls idle speed by temperature of your engine coolant. if its cold higher idle if its hot lower idle. if its broken screwed up idle. my car used to idle at 3500 when u fire it up and at 1200 when its hot

ah, no my car idles normal when it starts up when its warming up it starts to surge between 500-1100 rpms

thats nothing, my car idles good (around 1200) at first then goes down to, literally, a few hundred. its horrible. it shakes and the batery light turns on and i have to give it gas just to keep it from stalling some times. so i have to ask, where are the controls located on the lx. there are two black sensor looking things on the TB (one on the back and the other under the intake tube) which one is which and how exactly do i adjust it? someone said there is a screw you turn put they are both covered with a rubber piece...

check all vacum hoses too.
