fuel

My 98 cherokee will not start the first time ever. However it will start the second time without hesitation. It doesn't like cold starts in the morning and my gas mileage has gone through the roof. It doesnt appear to run rich or burn oil. Does anyone have an answer for me? By the way I am getting the catolitic convertor replaced and the o2 sensor, but I think the problem may be a little deeper.

If that doesnt help, try changing your CPS. I had similiar problems and that fixed the problem with mine. Hope this helps.
