Unhappy Antifreeze leak

I visited my wife at her job at 2:30pm and passed her car and all was fine. The car been sitting there since 9:00am. At about 4:00pm she went to put something in her car and there was a puddle of antifreeze under the car. I have tried to check where it is comming from but anyone who owns one knows it is hard to see that system. I pulled the head light and it seems to be comming from somewhere near the hoses on the drivers side. &I think it might be part of the ac system. Has anyone experianced anything like this before or heard of anyone who has. I mean the car was just sitting there not running and all of a sudden, blam staedy stream of antifreeze. Thanks.

It can't be from the A/C system, it uses either Freon or R-134a refridgerant which is a compressed gas. If it is antifreeze and in about that same location, it could be the water pump or the radiator leaking. Was there a large puddle or a small puddle? Check underneath on the engine and see if you see any trails running down. Also you can get a black light and some special dye for the anti freeze. Add the dye, run it for awhile and then check the engine with the black light, it will glow where the anti freeze has been - you can track that back to the source then.

Re: Antifreeze leak

This is alot of trouble just to try a reply. We had leak this morn 98 breeze. At shop, mechanic says drain plug needs new o ring. Replaced and let run to check if only problem, we drove away.
The leak was driver's side under bumper. There is a hole underneath bumper to allow you to see it. Sorry, I don't know from what angle he unscrewed it when it was on hoist.
Anyone know about knock or pop sound driver's side going over bump?

Unhappy looky at what i have to deal with!!!!!

This my throttle body:

notice the small cavity with carbon build up, through that hole I guess there is supposed to bea a vac hose coming out of there for somethign i am not sure what though.

This is a pic of the vac hose coming from the EVAP and at the tip it looks like it melted on the EGR metal tube when it got hot.

This is what i believe is the other end of the hose that was laying on the EGR tube. My right finger is pointing to it.

Also, Is there supposed to be a vac hose on the front of the throttle body

as indicated with the threads that are not coverd with dirt.

I was wondering if anyone has part numbers for vac hoses. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. Brian
