a/c problems
My a/c is blowing out cold air, so I took it to sears to have them check it out and they said that one of my hoses are probably clogged because my car cannot hold any freon. He said the only place you can take it to for the part is the dealership, or the junkyard. I was just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this, and if this is a repair I could preform myself.

Re: a/c problems
I had my ac serviced at a shop and they had a problem pulling a complete vacume on the system and the problem ended up being a clogged filter this could be your problem also. The filter is in the fitting between the two charge fittings passenger side by the firewall.Hope this helps

Thank you, I will take a look at it after I get off of work. Do you know offhand where I can get a diagram on where it is located?

Re: a/c problems
If you look in the engine compartment passenger side where the AC line is there are two fittings one has a black cap and the other has a blue cap. In between these is a coupleing that you unscrew and the filter in inline. The blue cap fitting is the one to recharge the system.
