please help with turbo not getting enough boost

my 93 twin turbo is making 5 pounds of boost when you hammer down from take off. now the funny thing is when the car is going around 40 miles an hour you can be getting 5 pounds of boost let off the gas push back on the gas and it will get 12 pounds and kick you back in the seat. does anyone know what the problem could be????

Re: please help with turbo not getting enough boost

hey some of your vacume lines are cracked or disconected so check them all and while your at it zip-tie them at the conection points to prevent this in the future.
