doors

my doors wont close. the first was the passenger side and i couldn't figure it out. so i went over to the driver side looked at the locking thing on the side part of the door and pushed it in then it locked and now both doors wont shut. any help? im an idiot when it comes to cars.

Press down on latch of the lock while simultaneously pulling up on the door handle. This should release the mechanism and allow you to close the door.
