Unhappy 99 Sub 1500 - more fuel pump problems

At 84000 my sub would not start. I did not hear the hum/buz sound in the tank so I figuered it was my pump. I replaced the fuel pump, filter, and relay. It worked for two weeks. I figured I had a bad pump so I simply did replaced the pump. One week later, my wife drove it to the park and back (30 miles round trip) parked it and would not start. I did not look at the car for two days and when I did... The hum/buz was there and it proceeded to start fine. I drove it, parked it and it was fine. Next day.. Started fine. This morning, I drove it 7 miles and it will not start. I do not hear the hum/buz sound. I swapped relays switches several times, I tapped the fuel tank, I cleanned battery wires (very dirty), I heard oil pressure might have something to with this... so I added a quart of oil. So now that it willnot start... I don't know what else to do. I am hope it starts after letting it sit for a couple of hours. In the mean time... HELP!!!
