Junkyard question...

Hey, does any one know if junkyards buy parts? i know pawnshops do but i figure a junkyard will purchase like everything, cuz i have some parts i got that im trying to sell...

the junkyards around my area, Pennsylvania, will give you about $20 for the whole car, and only if its running... So im not sure if any will buy parts.

I know most buy whole cars, I would think that they would buy parts also, BUT it probably depends on the market and condition of the part, Your best bet would be to contact them and see what they say.

yeah as far as i know they only buy whole cars too...and for rediculously low prices..you might as well just drive it there and give it to them as a gift.

20 bucks! that sucks , here they pay 75 minimum cus the scrap metal has value. I sold my 85 grand am for 75 bucks and it had a free tow to the junk yard as well so it depends on how you deal with them cus my 85 had a cracked block lol.
