porting

does anyone know how much horsepower can be gained from porting the intake on a 3.8L mustang? i know, i know, not worth it etc. so don't bother telling me that, i just want to know how much i could gain from it. with gas up i don't think i want to supercharge my V6 or anything else that would hurt my mileage and im looking for any mods that'll give me power without hurting mpgs. i found a ported upper intake on moranaV6 racing for $250 dollars and i want to know if its worth it or if there are other mods that need to be done as well to make it effective. i already have Dual Exhaust with long tube headers and a catted H-pipe, a CAI, and a 75mm MAF sensor.

Re: porting

He's right you need to have both done for one to work enough to notice.

Racing a Honda is like being in the special olympics even if you win your still retarded!

yeah, i know, i just haven't found a lower intake anywhere. i guess it's possible to just get your existing manifolds ported by a machine shop, eh?
