good car?
I know where there is a 96 teg 5-speed don't know which model.
he wants 6999. assuming it's a base 142hp is that v-tech? also what performance options do I have? I have a spare eaton m62. what compression ratio do they come with stock? I'm new to honda/acuras but I have a turbo grand prix so I know alittle about Forced induction. buy it supercharge it? or keep looking? marcus

Re: good car?
UMMM you need to find out which model it is, the only possible one with ***VTEC*** for that price would be a GSR....and it would have 170 HP not 142.....find out the model and look up its specs online...the GSR stock compression is a 10:1 while the LS,GS, SE, and RS aka NON VTEC is something like 9.8:1

it's a base. I went by and looked more closely at it. that ended my interest in that one.

Re: good car?
Well, if you are going to turbo or supercharge it, the bases are easier becuase they have a lower compression ratio. But still, $6999 is too much for it.
